Amazona
The signature restaurant of the Boutique Hotel Ena, an independent, sustainability-focused hotel located on the Madre de Dios river in the Peruvian rainforest.
Using local ingredients and mixing modern and ancient techniques, Amazona’s chefs have brought back to live original Amazonian traditions.

The Idea
I created an identity based in Amazon traditions: wood etching and carving. In the amazonian culture, etching and carving fruits is a well known technique to create decorative pots, jewelry, dishes, etc.
Inspired on that, I created several illustrations of exotic fruits of the area, that serve as decorative elements and give more elements to the identity system.
